British Touring Car frontrunner Andrew Jordan will concentrate on winning the Independents' Trophy at the Brands Hatch finale this weekend, despite being in with a chance of the outright crown.
Jordan, who has taken one 2012 race win in his Eurotech-run Honda Civic, currently lies fourth in the overall standings. He is 61 points behind title leader Gordon Shedden, with 67 on offer at Brands.
In the Independents' title race, Jordan is 28 points ahead of WSR BMW driver Rob Collard and believes that should be his focus.
"I'm not even thinking about the outright drivers' title - that's between Gordon, Matt [Neal] and Jason [Plato]," he said. "My focus is a winning the Independent trophies."
Jordan did not rule out assisting works Honda drivers Shedden and Neal against MG driver Plato if the opportunity arose.
"If we get the Independent titles sewn up then maybe I'll try and help Gordon and Matt beat Jason but until then I won't be thinking about that," he added.
"You can only juggle so many balls."
Shedden heads into the Brands GP event 15 points ahead of double champion Plato and 31 clear of triple champion team-mate Neal.
